「鈴木星亜」展レヴュー

（ANOTHER FUNCTION / 六本木）

　あれはたしか『バットマン・ビギンズ』(2005)だった、人に見るもおぞましい幻影を見せて恐怖を植えつけ、発狂へと追い込む精神薬理学者が出て来たのは。
これは裏を返せば、私たちにふつうに見えているものは、私たちが見ようとしているものに他ならず、しかもそこには正常であろう私たちの内なる視の形式＝制度の不動性がはたらいているということだ。
　私たちは本当は何を見ているのだろうか？鈴木星亜の一連の営為の理念性を支えているのは、まさに根源的なこの問いかけである。

　As I remember, it was 'Batman Begins' (2005) in which the psychopharmacologist appeared and showed horrific illusion to grip people with fear and drive them mad.
To put it the other way around, what we see normally is no more than what we want to see.Moreover, our inner manner of sight =immobility of system, which supposed to be normal, functions there.
　What do we see in reality? It is certainly the fundamental question which supports the ideology of Seia Suzuki's series of works.
